ART DECO BIRDS EYE MAPLE 3 DOOR FITTED WARDROBE / ARMOIRE

Description:
*This Art Deco wardrobe / armoire is an excellent quality piece of bedroom furniture that dates to the 1930s, and it has an extremely stylish design.
*It's stepped shape really is a pleasing feature, as are it's quality birds eye maple veneers which are nicely complemented by darker finished walnut banding which produces a nice colour contrast.
*Long solid walnut handles are fitted to the 2 end doors, as are push button catches which connect to the corresponding locks, both of which work. A single key works both locks.
*The 2 door hanging compartment is fitted with a conveniently located shelf which has 9 hooks fitted below it, 5 across the back panel and 2 on each side. A non pictured hanging rail is present and there are supports for a no longer present shoe rail.
*A 3/4 length mirror is fitted to the reverse side of the right hand door, and the corresponding fitted interior consists of several open compartments, a glass fronted dovetailed drawer with bakelite knobs, and 2 dovetailed drawers with chrome handles. The 3 shaped front shelves below the glass fronted drawer are height adjustable.
*The condition is generally very good, although there are some age related marks of use to mention, including some shallow scratches and surface scratches in the front. There are some rubs, scuffs and dings / small dents here and there in the edges and corners, and there's a filled in dent (pictured) in the rounded right hand edge of the middle door, just left of the right hand door handle.
